Teaching Experience
As a 2D Design Professor my responsibilities included the development and presentation of a variety of 2 dimensional
design and color theory concepts through lectures, studio assignments, demonstrations, critiques, testing and grading for freshman and sophomores within the curriculum of the Foundations Department. Much emphasis is placed on the use of acrylic medium techniques, developing various color schemes and color mixtures.
3D Design involves much the same with the emphasis on three dimensional concepts and objects, with an introduction to
the use of power tools, creating study models and finished objects in materials such as, clay, craft plywood, model foam
with finish painting techniques.
3D Design Techniques involves instruction in the physical properties of wood and metal and the safe use of various wood
and metal power tools through hands on functional projects and lectures, including the use of; band saw, table saw, chop
